RACHMANINOFF VIOLIN MUSIC?

Rachmaninoff violinI DON’T KNOW ANYONE who doesn’t like Rachmaninoff. And here is something unique: ‘Complete Works & Transcriptions for Violin & Piano.’ Annelle K Gregory and her piano accompanist Alexander Sinchuk have collected the few original miniatures and the large body of transcriptions (by Heifetz, Kreisler, Edenko and others) all in one place, totaling well over an hour of charming and memorable performances. Among them are the famous Vocalise, the 18th Variations from the Paganini Rhapsody and the second movement of the Second Piano Concerto. Here you can see and hear them play the Romance, Op 21, No. 9 “Melody.”
